Besides the obvious (my family and friends...and my antidepressants) these are the small things in life that put a smile in my heart.
Hairdryers. These have always been source of comfort for me. Call it my "mechanical security blanket". My mom used to let me lay in her lap and she would blow dry my hair while I fell asleep. To this day, the sound of a blow dryer puts me to sleep.
Art History. I'm a nerd. A creative one, at that.
Naps. Actually its more like those moments right after you lay down for a nap, and right before you actually fall asleep. Your mind goes out for a walk in the park and drifts to the most random things. Pure relaxation....
Gourmet cupcakes. A cupcake is like the dollhouse version of a cake. Perfection in a tiny bite.
The way my feet look and feel after a pedicure.
The smell of bonfires and the crunching sound of leaves under my feet in October.

I think a cupcake in bed, followed by a nap and then a great cup of coffee when you wake up would be the best day ever!
OMG. The picture of the pool was amazing. It's almost relaxing just imagining I was there!
Cute post! I'll have to follow that too ... I'm sure it keeps you hanging onto the positive, especially when having a bad day!
Mmm I love good cupcakes! And naps. I def. love naps.
I like Relax too! We should share a bottle sometime.
the breakfast buffet in Jamaica may or may not have been one of my favorite parts of our honeymoon..mmmm.
excited to see you soon!!
Best. List. EVER.
I LOVE FALL! And all things pumpkin.
I love lists! I have to agree that coffee is near the top of my list.
I especially like the video baby monitor....!!! What would we ever do without them? I enjoy looking through others blogs and it looks like your little sweet girl and my Lance are the same age. Fun to read about other babies the same age! Hope you had a great Memorial Day Weekend.
