The Newlywed Game

I saw this list of questions on someone’s blog and I thought it would be fun to ask the hubs (newlywed style).

If you have never seen The Newlywed Game, the host asks the husband questions about the wife while she is not in the room, then she has to come back and answer the same questions. We will see if we have the same answers!

1. She’s sitting in front of the TV, what is on the screen?

Hubs: A reality TV show like Top Model, Teen Mom, the Kardashians, all the trashy stuff.

Katie: so true! I luuurve me some mindless reality tv.

2. You’re out to eat, what kind of dressing does she get on her salad?

Hubs: Vinaigrette

Katie: true. I order balsamic vinaigrette on everything, except when I go to Chili’s and order the quesadilla explosion salad. Mmm I can taste it right now.

3. What’s one food she doesn’t like?

Hubs: Srimps (shrimp)

Katie: true. I hate shrimp. They are the cockroaches of the sea. Why would you want to rip a tiny creature’s head off, then eat it?

4. You go out to eat and have a drink, what does she order?

Hubs: Pink Zinfandel or whatever its called.

Katie: sort of true. mostly I order an unsweet tea with lemon, but if I order an alcoholic drink, I keep it Klassy with a nice cold glass of $5 Beringer White Zin!

5. What shirt size does she have?

Hubs: medium?

Katie: nottttt quite. I’m more of a L, XL kind of girl :)

6. What shoe size does she have?

Hubs: Eight I think

Katie: more like a TEN! I have huge feet. At TJ Maxx, they have an entirely separate area for the “big ones”. I have to do the walk of shame to the back wall. :(

7. What’s her favorite type of sandwich?

Hubs: she doesn't like sandwiches-if she had to pick one it would be chicken salad?

Katie: true. I hate home made sandwiches, but I LOVE gourmet sandwiches from restaurants! My fav is the French Dip at O’Charley’s.

8. What would she eat everyday if she could?

Hubs: taco bell

Katie: Hmmm….I DO love Taco Bell. But I would probably say something sweet. I have to have something sweet every day! Hence the XL shirt size.

9. What is her favorite cereal?

Hubs: Special K

Katie: My favorite cereal is Cookie Crisp, but I only eat it when I’m pregnant. Otherwise I try to eat something healthy. Like Lucky Charms :)

10. What would she never wear?

Hubs: A Spandex Leotard

Katie: he knows me too well!

11. What is her favorite sports team?

Hubs: Titans

Katie: I hate sports. No, I dont hate the actual sport, I hate how much of Josh’s time and attention it takes away from important things, like talking about paint colors with me or rubbing my feet.

14. What is something she does that you wish she wouldn’t do?

Hubs: I wish she wasnt so messy.

Katie: so true. I am beyond messy. I credit it to my creative personality. Artists dont have time to clean!

15. What is her heritage?

Hubs: a little bit of everything

Katie: true, but I tell everyone I’m Italian. Because I love fancy Italian food. Like Olive Garden.

16. You bake her a cake, what kind of cake?

Hubs: chocolate

Katie: WRONG! I love funfetti cake with funfetti icing!

17. Did she play sports in high school?

Hubs: No

Katie: true. BUT- if crafts were a sport, I would be MVP of the year!

18. What could she spend hours doing?

Hubs: surfing the internet

Katie: shopping!! I love looking for a good bargain!

19. What is the unique talent that she has?

Hubs: anything that involves creativity

20. What is her type of coffee?

Hubs: dunkin donuts with hazelnut creamer and splenda

Katie: oh yes, he knows how I like my coffee because he makes it for me!
